Finally.

RAWRB ON GROUND
GROUNDRAWRB

Yeah! Like I said, finally.

So, at the rate things are going with the internet and the "enshittification" of social media (like, ALL of it), I decided to turn towards the open-sourced world and the magic of NOT Wordpress, Ghost. I'm hosting it myself even because it's open-sourced. How cool is that?

It's cool, you clod.

I went back and forth on building my own blogging software, but man... I got some other shit I want to do. So Ghost it is.

So, to add to the confusing branding, here's what this is:

  • rob.coffee - this site. More on this in a minute.
  • rawrb.com - I have no idea. Probably will redirect to this.
  • gigarob.com - Sheesh! This will eventually become a solo musical project, but I'll post my struggles and hard-learned lessons here for those who are/shouldn't be interested.
  • robgeek.com - I used to try and freelance as a developer. I don't want to do that ever again. Please.

In essence, I'd like to pivot and try something new. This, of course, means that this is more or less a personal site, an editorial outlet, whatever the case may be, meaning that my own personal views don't represent the views of what you might know me for (which is likely Psychostick).

That being said, I will be sure to warn you if I start flying off into the realm of controversy or whatever. I mean, I'm a nerdy, science-loving, weirdo who tries to observe the world as its presented (reality-based thinking) and not flail about regarding made-up nonsense or conspiracy theories.

So you could probably guess what I mean by that and where I might go. That's all I'll say for now.

Anyway, feel free to subscribe to this publication if any of that interests you. My goal is to mostly focus on lessons learned, the adventures of creativity, and just my overall perspective on things. I hope that can provide some insight to those who might not see things from different angles, if that makes sense.

So yeah, welcome!
